What happens when I don’t get directly into my undergraduate degree?
Unfortunately, sometimes we don’t meet the requirements for direct entry into our dream undergraduate degree. Perhaps you’ve had your heart set on a Bachelor of Science, however, for what ever reason – you didn’t get the required ATAR score. There are still a couple of options to help you get towards your chosen degree!
Successful completion of a pathway course can provide eligibility into your chosen ACU undergraduate course.
- Associate Degrees (two years full-time)
Can be used to gain direct entry to the corresponding bachelor course and may provide credit for the study you have undertaken.
- Diplomas (12 months full-time)
The grades in a diploma program can be used to calculate your entry score, which will be considered in your application to gain entry to your chosen bachelor course.
- Certificates (six months full-time)
The grades in a certificate program can be used to calculate your entry score, which will be considered in your application to gain entry to your chosen bachelor course.
- Vocational pathway courses (six months to 24 months part-time and full-time)
Successful completion of these courses will give you direct entry to your chosen bachelor course.
